We had my mister's family visit soon after the baby was born. We got to take them around Boston and show them some cool sites. One of the sites we went and saw was the USS constitution.
The history of the USS constitution is pretty cool, which i wasn't too familiar with before. The USS constitution is the oldest commissioned warship afloat in the world, and was build in the 1700's. In the war of 1812 it defeated 4 British boats which gave the ship its nickname of "old ironside". It definitely had some cool history as well as the shipyard around it.
After seeing the ship we headed to the Northern part of Boston to Mike's Pastry. If you are in Boston this is one place you don't want to miss. The cannoli's are deadly.
Place: North End Boston
Activity: USS Constitution Tour
Vistor Center
Grub: Mikes Pastry
Parking: North End Garage

Both edecational and fun! And if cannolis are an option, it's a destination to put on the "someday" list!
