5 Ways to decorate with Pinecones

Yes. That title has now been used 2 days in a row.
For those who didn't get a chance to see my post at darling doodles design, here it is. And if you did get a chance to read it, here it is again. because quite frankly this craft took extra long for some reason (the toddler may have had something to do with how long it took) so I'm just going to post it again, because some things just need extra love when it takes so long. :)
Anywho, so the Christmas season is upon us and this month can get quite expensive with all the gift giving, decorations, food etc! So to make it a little easier on all of us, here is a few, basically free ideas:

5 Ways to decorate with Pinecones:
{You can buy the pinecones from the store or get them free and find them under any pine-tree}

#1

Use twine, ribbon, yarn(basically what ever you have) and warp those little pinecones and give then a nice warm 'blanket' Pop those suckers into a basket with burlap or hang them from some garland.

 #2

Get some twine, burlap, and paperclips, and attach the ends of the of pinecone to the twine. Finish it off with tying some burlap around the paperclips.

#3
A simple elegant way to show off those pinecones is to put them in Mason Jars. Add some red and green pine that you found from a pine tree and you are done.

#4

Find an old tree or bush outside and snag some branches off. Place the branches in a jar and wire the pinecones to the branches.

#5
Use pinecones as a simple statement and use them to embellish wrapped gifts.
Also, to get the old fashioned look for paper, you can find my tutorial here.

Christmas can get really busy and so I like to keep things simple with my decorations.
And that is what I just showed you-
.simple.

I hope these ideas helped or inspired you for this Christmas season.
I would love for you to come by and visit my blog- hope to see you around!
And Merry Christmas!
