Hey you guys I am SO excited to have Kristen guest post today. I asked her to do a little post for me because ever since I found her blog I can't get enough of it. So you should stop by and say hello to her.
Anyway, I know as a girl we all can get into a rut of wearing the same thing over and over again. So I asked Kristen to teach us her ways of ways of how to mix up our wardrobe.
I'm Kirsten from K&R and I've always been a jeans and a tshirt kind of gal, but once I started my current job, I wasn't able to wear jeans anymore. I learned to pair all different things together so I wouldn't get bored of my "work clothes." I think its always easier to look at someone else's closet and think of the copious amounts of ways to wear all of their clothes. I think cardigans are the most versatile items ever. You can never go wrong witha cardigan. You can seriously wear a cardigan with everything, the more layers the better.
Here are 3 ways to wear a cardigan:
Cardigan+tshirt, well not sure if this a tshirt, but something casual. mix prints to make it more fun and interesting. While this can be super casual, you could also throw on a pencil skirt and some heels and be ready for a night out. also, definitely button up your cardigan for some more diversity (I always have problems with the button over my chest popping up, so I never do it).
Cardigan+button up, i seriously love cardigans plus button ups. I feel like they can look super casual, but you could also dress it up and look super classy. There are so many ways to take it, but you can never go wrong with a chambray.
Cardigan+sweater, maybe to some people its a little too much sweater going on, however i love layering knit on knit on knit. in the snow it makes things so much more bearable I definitely think you can never go wrong with a cardigan and a maxi skirt in the winter.
While I could of put this cardigan on a million different outfits, these are my favorites. I also wore it here, for one more idea. I hope this is able to help you guys out to find more ways to style your cardigans. Thanks for havin' me Shelby, you guys are the cutest!
