Today is my oldest sisters birthday and I felt impressed to write my feelings down about her. I will be honest when I was growing up there where times it was really, really tough. Times when she wanted to pull my hair out and I was a main target, because I had the longest hair. Times when I didn't understand why she was throwing a tantrum and had to be patience as she threw things, kicked me and even lock me outside the house. But that being said she is an angel and always has been for me. She is the valiant spirit that said, 'Yes I will go to earth and have those limitations, but I will be happy through it. I will be a light to others. '
And she is just that. Through out my whole life she had been an example of love. She's taught me how to love the neglected, the downhearted and the outcast. When I am with her she quickly teaches me what really is important in life. Shae's life has been anything but perfect but through her setbacks, and her limitations she finds joy in the sweetest and simplest things.
I am grateful to have a perfect example to look up to, and I am grateful for her guidance as an older sister that has made my life that much sweeter.
I've posted this video before, but I wanted to post it again because its a memory that I will always look back on and cherish.
