The 4th, tall ships and whole lot of walking

For the 4th, we started the day out with a "fun run" Brandon ran while the little one and I walked around the track. Or should I say I carried him most the way...
Once we returned around the track, we realized we missed Daddy's victory moment as he finished first- way to go right?
I won't disclose who was part of the fun run so as to keep his victory moment as momentous as possible. hee hee

Once we cleaned up we headed downtown to see the bi-cential display of tall ships in the Boston Harbor. The ships were incredible and it was so fantastic to see the old style ships, with live bands playing and wonder around with friends.

We ended the day watching the incredible Boston fireworks and got to listen to the famous Boston pops- {a live orchestra}. And to top it off, it down poured through most of the beginning of the fireworks, which couldn't have made it more magical with the husband right there.
Hope you had a great 4th! We love this country!!
