Birthday/valentines Remix

Let me first start off and say Happy Valentines Day to each of you.
Or should I say Valentimes - I have a horrible habit of saying it that way and Brandon manages to catch me every. single. time.  But he gets a good chuckle out of it.

Anyway, I hope that no matter where you are in life, you will have a day full of remembrance of the importance of Love. 

We got to go on our birthday date the other night (thank you Ellen again!) and as Brandon and I were out I couldn't help but think about the deeper meaning of love. 

I kept thinking about how is it that I show my love for him, and whether or not I sometimes let my love fall into the duty category: saying I love you because I feed you, clean for you, pay the bills for you - a duty. 

This may lead us to forget to think selflessly of the needs of the the lover, the wants they may have, and truly love them and know them. 

I was really pondering about the love I have for Brandon.  How I don't want the business of life or the stress of life take out the fun of loving him, or to forget the importance of being selfless and noticing his needs.
Love is deep and it takes effort,
I was grateful for this reminder and to consciously love deeper.
