Story Book Baby Shower

I guest posted over at Darling Doodles yesterday, but I thought I would post here because Mrs. Darling Doodles aka Brie is our friend and we threw her baby shower over the weekend. Brie is such a sweet person and has been such a good friend since we moved here. They just adopted their little girl and their story is so sweet and touching. So I was so honored to be apart of throwing a baby shower for their precious girl.

We used a story book theme and had each of the guest bring a book as part of their gift to help build a library for the sweet angel. 

 I made Dulche de Leche cookies recipe from here

 

  ^^For an activity the guest were to write on little square papers and safety pin the note to the diapers. So in the future when Brie was to change a diaper she will have a sweet, inspiration or funny note to read.^^

^^We also printed off library cards to have the guest give their best parenting advice to Brie.^^

It was a really fun to through a shower for someone so sweet and grateful. Thanks for letting me Brie!
