Empathy is word I hope my kids come to know. Its kind of a big word for little ones to understand, but it was nice because in the package it had cues for parents to help teach their little ones a more basic understanding about having empathy. There were also ideas of game you can play to have a better understanding of what empathy means. And the boys really loved the crafts and the games.
We made roses to give to another person. We tried to think of people who would like the roses and why we would give them. I've notice that both Daxton and Tayte are really good at thinking of others feelings already, so when I asked them who to give them to they were quick with their responses. It was really sweet to hear and watch them get excited to give the roses.
Making faces of how we feel when certain things happen to us and others.
There was a story also that the boys got to color that taught them in story format of how we can have more empathy. Super cute!
Excited to start this new week! Hope yours is off to a great start!

How fun is this! We love doing crafts, too. I can't decide if it's more fun to do them or to display them to brighten up the house. :-)
