Inspirational Weekend

This last weekend is one of my favorite times of the year. Our church holds a semi-annual General Conference where we listen and feast upon the words of our church leaders. It really is a spiritual feast- about 10 hours of church within two days!
One of the common themes I heard through out was the need to be a better mother/woman. Maybe I thought that because I'm hyper sensitive about it. But it was something I really needed because I am always in need of how to do this mothering thing right.

Here is a great site I found with good quotes from General Conference

What about you? Did you have an uplifting weekend? Even if you didn't watch the Conference what do you find inspirational?

We were doing a little hiking around in this beautiful meadow, when a stranger came up to us and asked if he could take our picture! I love it when that happens. So kind!

Love General Conference! With the time difference though, it was so hard to watch all the sessions. Still working on the Sunday morning/afternoon ones!

I am not Mormon Shelby. I don't know you at all. But have seen your posts and if my opinion is worth anything as a mum you have nothing to worry about. All children need is unconditional love and its obvious they will grow up knowing that. Your parents raised you all equally and your sister who has disabilities is a testament to that. So all in all well done x
