The reaction from the Osmonds

Brandon's family was next to tell them of our good fortune. We thought and though of what to do and then the thought came. Brandon's Dad is  dancing on 'Dancing with the Stars' and they were having an interview with the family to show on the 'Dancing with the Stars' so... after making some phone calls and getting in cahoots with the producers we finalized what we were going to do. We were going to tell the family as they filmed us! We thought it would be perfect to have the family together for a family shot, and as they were filming the shot, Brandon jump out and say 'I need to document this moment'. So once he was about to take the picture he would say... "Hey Shelby don't you have something to tell everyone?"

Then it was my turn to say, "I'm pregnant!"

It was perfect. They were shocked and we got it on film and on camera
