Brandon's Birthday

So, Brandon was very lucky on his birthday- take a test at 8:00 go to school from 9-3 and then work from 3-9:30... so he was obviously really excited, k not really. So I decided to try and make it a little better and threw a little party for him at work. I began cooking at 7 to make sure I was finished by the time he got to work- well, my oven wasn't working so I got to use my landlords oven. It was great, I was up and down, up and down, calling back and forth to finish my cooking, it took so much longer- (they would forget to check or forget to put in the food haha oh well). Well it took about till 1 to finish all the things that I had planned ( I wasn't smart- I should have started something the day before so it was so much stuff to do) But, I finished and had made Brandon cupcake hamburgers(an idea I stole from Makana, thanks Makana), 7-layer bean dip, other treats, Brandon's dinner- his favorite chicken bundles and other things.
Tanner was luckily at UVU so he came with me to sneak in the food before Brandon could see us. Well... we got caught but it still was a good surprise for Brandon. :)

His awesome Surprise
One of his gifts... we're obsessed with this game
The horrible mess I got to clean up

Tanner and Me trying to be sneaking at his work... didn't work out too well :)
And the awesome cupcakes- they didn't turn out that great and the red was more like a purple... oh well they still tasted good.

I think they turned out great! They look like little burgers to me. What a great wife you are Shelby.

And what is Tanner doing in that picture? No wonder you were caught

Hey, I just thought it was fry sauce on the hamburgers. You could have fooled me. They look fabulous. I remember seeing them on Makana's blog and thinking they looked super hard. You did a fabulous job!!
