23 in review

I had a melt down. Yes a melt down. I was turning 24, I felt so old, i felt  i hadn't accomplished much in my life. (Yes  if I'm having a melt down now - when I turn 40 I probably won't come out of my room for a week) I need reassurance, everything is okay. So to help me feel better, I decided to recap of few of my favorite highlights...

Here it goes...

September-  I have to first start out with finding out I was pregnant :)

In November we creatively told our families of our good fortune( both here and here), went to support our Dad at Dancing with the Stars, painted Aunt Mary's room, choreographed  and performed Joseph and His Dream Coat.

February we Found our boy, my 23rd Birthday, and school-school and more school.

In May I waddled my way through school and graduated with a Deaf Studies Diploma, my sister got married! brandon and I took a graduation trip to Vegas, and friend, family and neighborhood baby showers.

june. Oh love. Our sweet angel boy Daxton was born, got a good laugh out of the National Enquirer, but before all this was my pregnant belly shoot.

July, sweet baby boy was blessed, he had his first photo shoot and daxton went to all 3 hours of church.

in August 2 year anniversary in Vegas at the Donny Get together and we sat in a room for 19 hours. But made up for it by going to the Hale center theatre to see The Drowsy Chaperon.

September, i ran my post pregnant body over the muddy hills in the Dirty dash, started my new job teaching dance and voice and went to see the heart-melting Tim McGraw

October, attended the beautiful wedding of  Don and Jessi, escaped from jail, Daxton learned how to carve a pumpkin and we became obnoxious parents as we dressed Daxton up in ties.

in November we bought a home! me and Daxton got really sick... but we are better now and we celebrated Thanksgiving.

December we went on a cruise (provo river that is), celebrated Christmas with family and partied up the new year with friends, and took some family photos

January, Tan the man left on his mission,  oh!- and took non pregnant pictures. :) and we celebrated Brandon's birthday by going to a ceramics studio

Phew... that feels better. Its good to look back and see some of the things that has been accomplished  and done.  Mathew Arnold sums up the rest of my feelings for me...

"Life is not about having and getting, but being and becoming."

Make it a good year!
