Mag your Man

This is one of the gifts I gave Brandon for his birthday

I got this original idea from the dating divas,  so cute!  You can do one  for your man too, its simple and a great gift!

I started way back in November  emailing Brandon's friends and family to write stories, memories or reasons to why they think Brandon is awesome and send these thoughts to me.

I gathered the stories and created a magazine layout. I added blurps about each person and a picture to give it a magazine type feel.

You can go to magmypic.com to create a magazine cover for your own magazine OR you can do one in photoshop.
Here are a few examples of some articles I put together.

And of course you need a note from the editor to explain the purpose to the magazine.

After you are all done creating the pages get an old magazine and adhere the pages to the magazine. So simple.

So go ahead, create your own for someone special. They will love it I promise! Let me know if you do it AND if you have any questions :)

I loved that idea. It looks just like a magazine cover on the front. What a great job you did. So creative and fun and I'm sure very touching for him.

Hey so I'm doing one for my husband and I was wondering what kind of paper you used and what did you use to glue the pages to the magazine.

Natalie, I just used glossy paper that I got at Kinkos and then I used mod podge to glue it to the magazine. Hope it goes well for you.
