Man's sweater refashioned into Girl's turtleneck

So, i know this is kind of late... but in the winter i get super cold and it seems like my husband is always warm. I was going through his clothes one day i realize that his shirts are so thick and warm- no wonder he can stay so warm! Thats when I decided to steal one of his shirts and make it into my own.
I put on his shirt and pinned the the shirt to fit my body. Then I sew along those lines and used that extra material to create a turtleneck and fabric flowers that lined the shoulder.

Once I created my masterpiece it was then time to show the hubbs, he loved it of course, that is until he found out it was his shirt...haha woops.

*Lesson learned* when you spring clean this year and your going through your husband's winter clothes to throw out- making sure its the ones he's throwing out maybe think twice before tossing it and what it could create for your own cute winter shirt.

I'm glad you showed us the sweater before so we could see what an incredible job you did. Amazing! So cute. You'd never know it had been a guys sweater.

That looks fabulous!

Now the real trick, can you turn a girl's sweater into a boy's?
