So as promised here are pictures from Daxton's 1st Birthday
theme: Explorer
We had a little too much fun getting ready for this party, but it was all in the name of our little boy. 
And I'm sure he enjoyed it as much as we did. 














This was our take home gift for all the little kiddios

Looking at these photos of the Birthday Boy takes me back to my own children's first birthdays.

Colin was born Dec. 10 and his party was his first experience with cake.

Later that month we went to the candle mass at church. It was so beautiful as everyone lit their candles and then...this little voice rang out...CAKE????? The whole congregation busted out laughing!

Blessings on all of you and may you have a lifetime of wonderful memories like this day with Daxton and family/friends. Love you guys!

Are you kidding me, Shelby?!! uhhh can I like hire you to throw parties for me!! YOU ARE AWESOME! This looks fabulous! I'm not even 1, I'm 24 and I want my birthday party to be like that! hahaha Thank you so much for sharing pictures because it was SO fun to see people from the ward. I'm missin everyone fo sho! Daxton is SOO adorable and I'm glad you had fun.

P.S...My mom and I are a little jealous that we're in Oregon when Donny Osmond is partyin' it up back on our utah street :)

WOWW - thanks for sharing Shelby - I had been waiting to see these since Grandpa announced he couldn't wait to get home to his grandbaby's first birthday party - looks like you all had so much fun - Congratulations to you Daxton on turning one and many more special, special days lie ahead for you cos you are one special little guy!! Wow, wow, wow!!! Talent oozing from every finger of yours! What a fun party! Every detail looked amazing. The table with your spread of delicious food looked like it was out of a magazine! You sure think outside of the box. Looks like Daxton had a great time! That's all that matters!!! Love it!
