Here are a few highlights from this weekend.
1. Figuring out how to take pictures with the babe.
2. Pumpkin pie. MY first made from scratch pumpkin pie that is.
3. Allowing the babe to grow up and buying him his new car seat that faces forward. He is so happy now.
4. Making our way over to the Bean Museum, its full of all sorts of animals. The little one was amazed by all the animals- it was so fun to try and see him make noise for them all.
5. Yes, yes. That is a real live tarantula on brandon's hand and like one hop away from our child. To say I was freaking out would be an understatement.
6. This animal a lizard I allowed daxton to hold.
6. This animal a lizard I allowed daxton to hold.
7. Bears. It was the only animal Daxton was scared of.
8. uh.. fixing datons coat.
9. Our brilliant idea of entertaining daxton while looking for books for him. till he leaned to far over the side and fell, not so brilliant. (don't worry it wasn't that hard of a fall.)
10. Eating with the Grandma, and uncle josh which the little ones calls "mama and osh."
11/12. Enjoying our time at the overcrowded Texas Roadhouse
Also this week Brandon came home and stood in the doorway with this smirk and said do you notice anything? I looked and had to hold myself back.
He is participating in Movember and i do not have a place in my heart for mustaches. SO I told him as long as long as he was growing out his mustache, my armpit hairs would be doing the same. I'm thinking he might shave it soon.

Ph - I think it is quite becoming of Brandon actually. And besides the mustache actually fits in perfectly with the 70's stylized photos you have.
Haha I told my husband the same thing! except I didn't stop at armpit hairs. My whole body will be participating in no-shave november if his mustache is :)
I agree on the not being a fan of facial hair, the only thing is my threats are empty because I already hate shaving. I would have to promise to shave if he did and tno shaving is the only thing that the winter has going for it for me.
haha too funny! Luckily my boy has to keep the facial hair trimmed for work. ;) Beautiful photos.
Did you buy a britax?! And I love the multiple photos w description. You should do more. btw, I have nothing good to say about mustaches
nice blog! beautiful family!!!!

My husband is participating in Movember too and he's deadset to complete the whole month. Terrifying, but at least I know when it's going away!
I wrote a post about it last week, you should definitely check it out!

Happy Monday!

Cute pictures! And don't worry about the mustache, it could be worse; my 30-year-old son has a beard (neatly trimmed). Actually his wife likes it! I'm sure your son will be happy in the big boy carseat, it's so fun to see everything while in the car!
Such cute photos! Looks like you had a busy fun-filled weekend. Your boy is getting so big. I love that you allow him to be an adventurous lil boy. Too many times parents are so worried about keeping the kids clean and presentable. You and Brandon are good parents.
I thought I saw a mustache in one of those pictures! Haha! Nice idea with the armpit hair. Actually it's quite disgusting but a good trade!
Hello Mr. Banks!
Great job on the pumpkin pie. Yum!
You guys use to love the Bean Museum as well.
Oh, Shelby, I laughed so hard when I read your comment about armpit hair. Thanks so much for the much needed laugh. I think Brandon looks cute with the mustache.
All the pictures are great, too. The pie looks great!
ha! movember. i am not a fan either! silly little mustaches. just found your blog today and it's adorable! loves it.
LOL! Nice way to motivate him to shave! :-)
The pictures look great! Loved the setup of everything. And you already know that I support you fully on growing out your armpit hair.
Wow, what a weekend =) That's a big step for the big boy carseat. I bet you love being able to see him better, too. It is so crazy how babies grow so fast!
