Because She Does, Thursday

This past week I got to spend some time with family. And because I got to spend time with family meant that I got to spend time with my beautiful sister-in-law Jessi.

  One word that comes to mind when I think of Jessi is peaceful. Jessi has a unique outlook on life and always looks at the glass half full. She is consistently improving her situation and looking for the best in others and making them feel loved. One thing I love about Jessi is she listens, and understands- never trying to change the person. I can honestly say that i always leave her presence feeling loved and uplifted. This is something we all look for in a person, and she seems to have it mastered.

            

  Not only is Jessi peaceful but she can have a blast with life. She is incredibly creative and again she thinks outside the box. She is a great inspiration,and i thank her for that.

            

  Jessi seems to constantly be serving and the best example I know of is, when she put together a fund raiser, (with a party and all) to raise money for children in Nepal(where she spend 4 months doing service abroad). She had great success and those children in Nepal are blessed to have her looking out for them.

 Also, I remember times when at a family events and she would be missing, we would ask where she was and we would learn she would be doing some kind of service, like volunteering her time at Special Olpymics. These are the things Jessi spends her time doing, and its truly amazing to see her never stop making the world around her a better place.

 It was a lot of fun getting to know Jessi even more and glean some of her personality. We had a good time laughing at moments when the situation could have been a downer. I am blessed to have a great sister who inspires me to be better, to be myself and brings out the best in me.
