We are going to be Friends

as a class project we learned the song, "We are going to be friends" in American Sign Language.
D-PAN first created an ASL music video for this song so we watched and learned as a project.

However, to go a step further my class not only just learned the sign language for the song, but were assigned groups:
Art Directors, Managers, Location scouts, Costuming/Casting,
and they created a whole music video of their own.
My wonderful husband came and filmed for them. The students directed him and he also adding his own flare.
So here are the two music videos we created- both equally impressive! Enjoy.

These are so fun, Shelby! And hey - I recognize Carlos in the second one! He's a good friend of my brother's.

And I was glad to see you made a little cameo appearance there, too. :)

What a fantastic project! Congrats to all the students - so great that they were able to have such great facial expressions while signing - it's a beautiful language and this was a real treat!

Waving hands!
