So it's been a whirlwind of emotions in our house and Im not just talking about pregnancy emotions but moving emotions. Change is so fun and exciting but so hard at the same time. So as I'm writing about change, sitting on boxes that are in replace of our furniture i will announce our new move out to boston.
Yep. Boston. Its across the Country and no we dont know anyone out there. Which will be quite the adventure. It is hard to sAy goodbye to friends and family, however last night we got some great advice from my world traveler grandma, who advised;
"live life to the fullest and enjoy every moment. And cling to each other as a family."
What perfect advice from a loving grandma who stood at her door giving those last words. And we plan to take her advice seriously.
So Most of our things are packed away and we have one chair to sit on, so we like to sit on our boxes and eat jamba juices and laugh about the messy house we are living in.
So, if you notice an absence on here, you'll know why. Wish us luck as we journey to this new place in Boston.

Life is an adventure; I'm happy that you are facing it with excitement and a positive attitude. You'll do well on your move and soon make friends. And, all of us will be here to support you along the way.
Wow, Boston. How exciting, the fun part is Daxton will learn a new accent. Have fun and enjoy the journey.
Well welcome to Massachusetts!!! Come on down to Cape Cod to visit!!The kids will love the ocean. And thee is no better way to learn history than walking the freedom trail in Boston!!
Good luck and you'll love it! I hope you and Brandon take LOTS of pictures in the Autumn because Boston is famous for their georgous, colorful trees but most of all, have fun. :-)
Hi,
Why are you moving to Boston?
Welcome to Boston....you guys are going to love it....there is so much to do and you will make friends in no time at all....just remember it takes us a little while to get warmed up and you will need a tough skin sometimes but take your little guys on the duck boats and you will know why you moved here besides a job .
I've always wanted to go to Boston!! Good luck with the move. I just can't believe all the moving going on in your family now with the boys moving back and the girls moving away. You guys really need to sit down and plan better!! :) j/k (oh, and I've always loved the name Boston for a boy... hmmm... just throwing that out there!!) Love you!
Another Massachusetts person here. I'm sure Donny has been able to give you some great advice about the area since he was here for about a year. About us Bostonians: You'll be laughing at the little things we say like "pahk" (for park) and caaa (for car)...and heeya (for here)....but eventually you'll catch on (and if we do it right, you'll be a Red Sox fan before you know it!). Thank goodness you have your son and another little one on the way. Kids have a way of helping you get to meet other Moms and become familiar with the area. And of course, your new Ward will be your anchor. Use your blog to ask us questions. We'll help you guys out as you figure your way around. So excited for you to be in the area.....
Boston.. that is a good name for a boy. So if Houston though! lol!
So, I hope we get to visit you. I can't believe you sold everything! Sheesh woman! At least you have boxes to sit on... and sleep on too? I'm gonna miss you my friend
I'm only a few hours away now, so I can pop up any time if you need any help at all :)
While your family and friends back home are sad to see you go, know that at least this someone is so excited to have you back east!
I hope you just love Boston & have a wonderful life there.
Wishing you joy, adventure, love, friendship, and Heavenly Father's loving arms around you in all you do. I'm a Pacific Ocean girl myself, so it will be cool to see what you think of the east coast. Love you all so much!
What the what! Boston huh? How exciting! It will be so hard to leave family and friends behind but what an awesome experience it will be to grow together in a new place that you will learn to love as your home. I can't wait to read it all here :)
This is awesome! We moved to Montana for my hubby's grad schooling, and I was SUPER nervous because we didn't know anyone either. BUT...we have made some friends that will last a lifetime, and we have become so close as our own little family. What a neat, exciting thing to do. I almost wish everybody could do it sometime in their life :) Good luck with the move, you'll do great!
You will be missed very much! We are thrilled for you guys to start your adventure out on your own but sad we won't be 10 mins away. I wish we were heading out that way too.. guess we'll just have to visit:) cute green dress btw
All the best to you and your family. get moved and we will all stayed tuned for the first glimpse of your new home :) with Blessings
Jane in Canada
Good luck and have a great life there!! :)
Oh dearest Shelby and Brandon . . how PAINFULLY we will miss having you near! It sounds scary, I know. Quite an adventure. Being the LOVING and KIND people that you are you will make oodles of friends in record time! You will take your little 'life backpacks' with all the little tools of life you have learned from your very beginnings; wisdom gleaned from experiences, joys, hard knocks, other people and other wards--and use those tools to help you make a new beginning with your family! I love your Grandma's advice . . so true! You two are honestly two of the most TRULY SPECIAL individuals I have had the blessing to know in my life. Keep in touch darlings! Love, Marilyn Talbot
