Barnyard Table

We moved out to Boston without any furniture, so for the longest time {like 1 1/2 months} we didn't have anything to sit on and our house was pretty much empty. 

We kept meaning to get things but I am so indecisive and a little overwhelmed with all the possibilities- i could never choose.

However, we did find this beautiful table and we wanted a raw look to it. So we sanded down the top, or should i say what brandon likes to say. 

We destroy it. haha

and then we gave it a good white washin bath. 

painted the legs a robins egg blue and created this look. 

The funny story is that Brandon completely finished the project in the dark- which I didn't know and I had gone to bed. 

The next morning I woke up to Brandon walking in with a big smile on his face and he sweetly asked if I wanted to come have some breakfast. I walked in and died. He had the whole set up with breakfast and he was so excited to sit at our new table. 

We have loved it and now we're just looking for a bench to add to the side.
