Charming

If you follow me on instagram, you might know that we have moved from Boston. It was a very sudden change and a very quick but thought out and prayerful decision. Even though we knew the move was right and important, it still feels like Boston was ripped out of our hands.
I. loved. Boston.
And everyone that lives in Boston knows its a very special, charming and unique place. And only having 3 weeks notice to say goodbye was and still is a very hard challenge. We journey across country by car and are currently in Utah. Every now and then I find myself aching to go back to Boston, but I quickly remind myself that I'll love this new stage we are in as well.
But we will always miss Boston.

Before we left we did a couple things on our bucket list; one being going to the Public gardens to ride on the swan boats. And since Acorn street is so close to the gardens we wanted to pay that one last visit as well. Acorn street is a cobblestone street from the 1800's that is just filled with charm....

We just got these water bottles from Stuck on You. The boys LOVE them. We struggle trying to keep water bottles with the right child, and the boys will get upset if they don't have the one they started with. So when I saw they came with their names on them I was sold. Boston Boston

Ugh, my heart aches for you! When I moved away from Boston I felt like my heart was going to give out. I bet it's great to be back with family again.

I love that I have matching red saltwaters. So cute.

Also, Boston is so fun. I loved visiting my family there when they were in the area. The winters are just so dang miserable though. Soak up the summer!

As always amazingly good photos. It was nice to see you have got that Swedish rucksack. I've worn out quite a few over the decades, and so have my sons. Nowadays they come in all sorts of colours, but originally only in blue and army green.

What are red saltwaters?

Adorable Shelby (& Brandon!) -- I'm sure you new location will be just as special as Boston ...in time! Good Luck with your NEW Adventure for your Sweet Little Family! Thanks for updating us from time to time! And ....Julie, "Saltwaters" is referring to the cute SaltWater Sandals both of the boys have on in the pics -- & she's referring to Tayte's RED Saltwaters. It must be an American Thing that you aren't familiar with perhaps! LYNN

Hi Lynn,
Thank you for the info on the sandals. We probably have them in the UK, not sure.

Tayte is such a little blondie!

I am sad you guys have left the East coast, but excited to see where your adventures take you next!

It's so weird, not seeing you guys during my comings and goings, and looking up at empty windows. We didn't get to chat a whole lot, but I really enjoyed our "neighborly" conversations. I wish you and all the men (both big and little) a wonderful new journey. And just remember....Boston was one of the original 13 colonies...it'll be here if you ever want to come back. ;)

I am glad you and yours had that opportunity in Boston . It was just you, Brandon and the kids . Back in Utah you have so much of a support system, which is so much needed when u are raising a growing family . Packing sucks, but unpacking is fun... enjoy your move and enjoy this new chapter about to open :)...
Blessings
Jane
