Martha's Vineyard...

Was a dream.

As a little getaway Brandon and I decided to spend a night on Cape Cod in a cute little hotel and use the next morning and afternoon spending our time on Martha's Vineyard together.
It really couldn't have been more perfect. We lucked out with the weather because it was suppose to be dangerous rain and high winds... but it turned out to be the most gorgeous day.

We rented bikes from a honest family own business. We were super lucky to find them, some other rental places charge quite a bit for bikes and then give you a beat up old thing. But they had a great price and great bikes. Anyway, they were super nice.

After biking around all day on Martha's Vineyard I  realized I have a huge crush on biking. Its amazing. So freeing and romantic :)  I really couldn't stop smiling the whole day.

Then Martha's Vineyard was just gorgeous! Everything was a picture... and we didn't hold back. This isn't like a third of the pictures we took! And since we didn't have kids with us, there are a lot of pictures of Brandon and me, which feels odd. But when we are both pathological picture takers that what happens!

But really I wish I could put this day on repeat at least once a month. It was so refreshing to be with just Brandon all day. (Although through out the day whenever we saw a little kid we both give each other a look with the expression of  'I miss our boys..' ) It really was good though to get out with just Brandon and be in such a glorious place.

I need to take a photography course from you two. This place looks just as amazing as Mrs. Gilmore used to say it was. :)

Yep, a year later and I still ache for Boston. It's not as frequent, and I love where we are, but Boston stole a chunk of my heart.
