Arches National Park

Arches National Pak
Its amazing the more I explore the states I live in the more in love I fall in love with the beauty the state has to offer. And let me tell you, I have been to Arches before but I really don't remember the overwhelming magnificent of it all. It was really so grand and so much to take in. We left on Friday and got to the park just in time for the evening weather. It was perfect.

We camped overnight in Moab, which was great but I don't think I'll ever do it again being almost 7 months pregnant! ha! But really the boys LOVE camping, and I think love is an understatement. As soon as we say the word camp they can't stop thinking or talking about it. So you can imagine how well they sleep in a tent. Maybe because they are such cuddle bugs that they love being right next to mom and dad. We had a major rain storm that night and into the morning, but we stayed dry and we were happy because it made for a nice cool day to go hiking. Plus, after a rain storm the red rock is painted an even brighter red making it even more gorgeous!

We hiked to all the different arches, we tried to see the whole park but we didn't have that much time, but we did see a good portion of it. The last arch we saw was sandy arch and the boys played for about 2 hours in the sand.  I think that every person that passed us commented on how it must be a childs heaven to have the largest sandbox in the world. And it was heaven for those boys.

Brandon and I  have learned that if they are happy, we're happy. We were content sitting there letting them play for those 2 hours and watching them run back and forth, find treasures in the sand, getting sand in their eyes (oih!), and just being boys.

One of the things I really love about these small family trips that we do is, Brandon and I completely unplug from our phones. Its just so nice because we reconnect to each other and to the beautiful world that was made for us. I love this little family of mine.

Brings back so many memories. I love that place. That hair of Taytes brings back the most memories as it reminds me of all of you guys running around.:) Arches is great but kids are what makes it the most fun.
