No more baby

This last year went by so fast, like lightening fast and now Benson is one. And i'll be honest I had a really hard time the week of his birthday realizing he wasn't a baby anymore. I love the first year so much, I love the newborn all the new stages like sitting up, trying new foods, crawling, walking. I eat up every single stage and to think that its already gone is so weird and hard. I love the stages after one but they're different. So I gave myself a couple days to mourn but now I'm facing reality and excited for the next stages of life he will go through.

For Benson's birthday we just had a simple, easy birthday at our Church gym. Its so cold outside and there aren't a lot of spaces to hold large crowds so it was perfect for what we needed it for. Its always so fun to celebrate a one year old, and to reflect on the past year.

Most of these photos were taken by mom- she's so amazing and I just wanted to say thanks to her!   Shelby and Brandon

And thanks to Aunt Kiki for making such a darling and yummy smash cake!! She did such a good job and Benson and the other kids really loved it!

Can't believe he is one. We sure love our Benson and all the joy and happiness he has brought to our home. Can't wait to spend an eternity with you.

Shelby, they are so adorable. Benson has 4-5 years of being a baby while Daxton will no longer be a baby once he is 6. How are you all doing? Happy THanksgiving!
