Forget the red light district we went to the green light district...
Its good and slightly sad to be back. I miss Europe and the time that husband and I were together with our boy. We were slightly exotic parents to daxton as we put him through the war by traveling so much- however he was a happy camper and probably enjoyed the sights as much as we did or at least he seemed like it. we took a bum load of pictures and so your just going to have to see each place one at a time and sit through all the pictures. Fair warning!
To start off we got the opportunity to visit Elder Chris Osmond (he is serving a LDS mission in the Netherlands) He saw Daxton for the first time and they immediately were best friends. Don't mind Daxton in this picture the poor thing just got off the 11 hour plane ride)
Dad Osmond got the great opportunity to do 3 fireside or church meeting for people out in Chris's area. The firesides were truly inspiring and hopefully the song we sang in Dutch didn't detract from that feeling. haha We met a lot of great people, and enjoyed a lot of Belgium chocolate. yum
here is Kuekenhof- yes try saying that without knowing dutch. For those who don't know dutch let me translate- an vast amounts of flowers in one place that are bbbeeeaaautiuful!
bbbeeeautiful right??
Well we got to explore the gorgeous city of Amsterdam, see Ann Frank's home and tried to fit into the netherlandian way of life.
Dank u wel

There is a city in Michigan named Holland...and in May, Holland, MI has there Tulip Time Festival and various Dutch-themed attractions nearby Lake Michigan shoreline. I have lived in Michigan for 13 years and have never been to Holland. I keep telling myself maybe this year, since May is around the corner.
Can't wait to see more pictures of your fun vacation.
I nver went to the Keukenhof ;-)
I'm glad to read that you enjoyed yourself.

These photo's are fantastic - you all look like you were having a great time. I particularly like the ones of the whole family together. And Daxton is so photogenic - he steals the scene in every photo that he is in!!!
Glad that you had a great time in Holland - look forward to seeing more photo's of your trip

Just curious . . . did you have a third person with you, or did you have the camera on a tripod for the family pics?
