moving into another season...

{second attempt at an outfit post- mostly due to helping the Mister out with a photo shoot for his work}
Its September and I am in denial. This summer went by way to fast, like scary fast. At the beginning of the summer I had a huge list of to do's to accomplish for my family and me. And now that the summer has come and gone I feel like I was robbed. I think one reason why it went so fast because it rained an awfully lot here. Which mean our list had to be put off quite a bit. I love rain. but not that much rain.
So I felt like a good portion of our summer was spent indoors and maybe thats why I am in denial, claiming I am robbed of a summer. In the past I have always look forward to Fall, it seriously is such a wonderful season with the crisp air, the falling leaves, the smells and colors....ohhh its all so wonderful.
Buuttttt I having a hard time, this go around letting go of summer.
Are you ready for Fall? Maybe you can help me feel better about this upcoming season in the comments. What are you looking forward to?

I suffer from summer SAD & am so glad the summer is over. We had some really hot days & nights here in the UK & I hated every minute of it.
Can't wait to see some of your pix of autumn. I know New England is well know for it's lovely autumn.
As for summer, it's funny, I usually hate it but this season was pretty amazing and it's a bit hard to let go of as well.
Fall is my fav. though. Just think, chunky scarves, pretty leaves, a light breeze and a pumkin spiced latte.......ahhhhh. Now, I'm excited! :D
I hope this fall brings more warmth and lots of happiness to you since you felt robbed of your summer. :(
Have a beautiful day!

Rain is probably the one thing I miss least about living there out east. I didn't appreciate sunshine like I do now! But no worries. Your part of the country boasts thee best Fall colors around. And Halloween is one of my very favorite holidays. I can't wait!

2.) things to look forward to during the Fall: sweater & boots weather, the famous New England autumn images you get to see & experience, cinnamon scent is in the air, you get to use your crock-pot, holidays are (almost) around the corner.....
Need I go on? ;-)
hmm i'm definitely ready for fall.
since graduating from high school a few years ago i never got a summer vacation and always spent my time working full time and going to school full time so its made me like summer less. this summer was nice, we moved, but we still spent the majority of our time indoors working and commuting. so for cooler weather i am definitely ready for fall haha.
i guess summer is less fun when you are an adult and can't go on vacations to the beach.
