Utah

We got back awhile ago from Utah and it was such a delight.
 I really wanted to focus on building better relationships with family and friends that were there, so a lot of my time and energy was spent toward that. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures, except a few with my phone. And it felt kinda amazing just to relax and not worry about documenting everything. {Although I do regret not taking a few more pictures.}

However, all the talking we had over the course of the day and into the night was so emotionally bonding, and so much more important in this time of my life that I don't care too much for the pictures. I look back on the time I had in Utah and realized how much its changed my perspective for this year. In fact, I have three New Years Resolutions and one of them is to strengthen relationships and I think that being in Utah has set me off to a good start.

With that said, my mother being the good Chirst-like person that she is, wanted to create a beautiful film of our family. I was very excited to help and be apart of filming and creating the video. However, because we have such a large family ( 9 children, plus spouses, plus kids)  it wasn't always easy to get filming done or even remember to do it!
So in efforts to make the best our of our situation we did 90% of the filming in about 2 hours right before church. And if you've ever been in a large family you know that that is quite the task!!

I am happy with the outcome, although there are parts of it that I wish we could do over, I absolutely loved the film. Just watching it over and over again makes me realize the love that I have for my own family. The incredibly good people that they are ( because really they each are seriously amazing) and the love that I have for the Book of Mormon. I hope you watch it, share it and feel it.
