Because She Does, Thursday

I thought it would be appropriate to share a "Because She Does" this week, to share thoughts about my Grandma Madsen who just recently passed away this last sunday.

With deaths there are many emotions, and memories and I am grateful for my Grandma who sincerely cared and loved me.
My Grandma and Grandpa traveled the world and raised 6 amazing children.
They taught their children to be clean, virtuous, happy and taught them the value of hard work.

My Grandmother, reflected all these qualities and much more.
Throughout the years, she had many health challenges, many of which would leave her bedridden.
I was not there through all of her hard times but I do know that when I was with her, I never remember a complaint from her mouth.
She was positive, motivated and kind.

She was highly religious and gave her life to the Savior. Even with her health challenges, she served 3 honorable, LDS missions with her husband in her older years,  giving us the example we all should have.

Her example, and her journey of life has left a strong imprint to effect several generations after her.
I love you Grandma, I left your presence peaceful and lifted.
I will forever remember your legacy you left behind.
